The Jazz in Schools programs bring instruments, music and jazz into area schools to show the students how music is made and the opportunity for personal expression that is open to all. Music has been shown to boost engagement, attendence, confidence, and even math skills.
These programs demonstrate the skills of cooperation, respect, mutual support, and individual skill contributing to  mutual success.
Dance demonstrations available.
 
The Education Committee brings these programs to schools in all area counties free of charge to the school. A teacher only need ask and provide a date.
